Ann-Sofie started as a part time Associate at Bonzer in June 2020. After 8 months, she got promoted to a Junior Consultant, and just recently, she entered her current role as Consultant.
What did you do before Bonzer?
"I came to Bonzer with two years of experience working with social media marketing in different companies. While working at Bonzer, I'm also studying my bachelor’s degree in Communication and IT at the University of Copenhagen."
Why did you choose Bonzer?
"I applied for the Associate position back in 2020 because I wanted to gain experience working with marketing and combining this with my knowledge from my studies. I also happened to know someone who already worked at Bonzer. From her, I came to know Bonzer as the ambitious, fun, and inclusive company that I now have come to know as exactly that."
Which three words would you highlight about working at Bonzer?
- Fun (a cliche, I know, but that's how I feel)
What does a typical workday look like for you?
"It’s not easy to describe a “typical” day in my job: when working as a Consultant at Bonzer, no two days are alike. The clients I work with are all very different – both in terms of industry and size – and I’m involved in different aspects of each client’s SEO strategy. Link building efforts, content ideas, reporting, meetings – these are just some of the many aspects of SEO I work with."
"Even though I'm not really able to describe a typical workday, I would say this: all days at Bonzer are defined by amazing colleagues, laughs, new and exciting challenges, and that one thing that really helps me get up in the morning – a great coffee machine."
What's the coolest thing about your job?
"That must be the fact that we’re growing and developing as one. By this I mean that we see our employees and the company as one; we always work together to develop our skills in order to become the best possible version of ourselves."
What do you do when you get off work?
"In the afternoon when I close down my laptop after a long day at the office, I usually spend my time with my partner, friends, and family, focusing on having the time of my life and staying healthy and active."
How do you handle your work-life balance?
"Working while also studying full-time can be a bit challenging. But I make it work through hardcore prioritizing, some long nights studying after work, and by closing my computer on weekends and enjoying my spare time. I've found a balance where I have time for both business and pleasure. Bonzer helps facilitate this through flexible working hours: as long as you’re proactive and you manage your clients and tasks responsibly, you’re free to decide whether you work e.g. four hours during the day and the remaining hours at night."
